Katrine Munch Bechgaard

Senior Advisor

As a communications manager in the public and private sectors, Katrine has been responsible for both strategic communication as well as public affairs, press and marketing work. She therefore has a great deal of communication expertise to draw on when she acts as an advisor within a wide range of communication disciplines.

Katrine knows how to link communication and marketing closely to the organization's strategic goals. She is specialized in data-driven and targeted communication and the results are always measured and analysed.​ In her previous jobs, she has been an advisor to managements, boards and chairpersons, and she has worked with crises management, strategy development and as the leader on large PA and marketing campaigns.

Katrine has a master's degree in Danish and communication, and she also has a primary school teacher training. She has previously worked as head of communications at the Danish National Council for Children, head of communications at the Danish Handball Federation and most recently as a head of communications and PA at the Egmont Foundation. ​Earlier, she worked as a teacher and in the Media Council for Children and Young People as a council member with expertise in children and media.

Her previous work has made her an expert in several communication disciplines, including strategy development, branding, data-driven communication, crisis management, advocacy, management consulting and press work. Furthermore, she has a unique insight and knowledge concerning children and young people, social affairs, culture and leisure life and civil society.​
