The Ocean Institute think tank needed to clearly communicate their vision for addressing oceanic issues such as pollution, overfishing, and climate change. They turned to Forte Advice for help creating a user-friendly website using Sanity as Headless CMS and technologies like Tailwind CSS and Next.JS. The website highlights the think tank's focus on pollution, marine recovery, and sustainable practices, and aims to raise awareness about the importance of the oceans.

Challenge

The challenge for the think tank Ocean Institute was to communicate their vision in a clear and easily accessible way, so that the public as well as existing and new members can easily access information about the state of the oceans and what can be done about it.

Insight

In order to raise awareness and communicate more effectively, the think tank Ocean Institute recognized the need for a sleek and easy-to-use information architecture.

In addition, the think tank identified three strategic focus areas for their work: addressing pollution, promoting recovery of damaged marine environments, and encouraging the adoption of more sustainable practices.

Solution

Based on the insights, Forte Advice advised on the content and information architecture for the think tank Ocean Institute. As a result, a website was developed using the headless CMS, Sanity, and utilizing technologies such as Tailwind CSS and Next.JS. The website was designed to be easy to use and navigate, with clear and easy access to the think tank's strategic focus areas of addressing pollution, promoting recovery of damaged marine environments, and encouraging the adoption of more sustainable practices.
